Brookline Physical Therapy's industrial rehabiliation program is a structured and goal-oriented program designed to help people identify work capacities, regain functional skills and return to work after an injury. The type of therapy an injured worker receives in industrial rehabilitation is quite similar to the therapy an individual would receive from a non-work related injury except the goals and type of functional training is work oriented. In industrial rehabilitation the physical demand capacity (PDC) of the injured worker is defined and goals and treatment are tailored in such a way to return the worker back to full work duty as early as possible. This can be accomplished through physical therapy, a work reconditioning program, and/or a functional capacity evaluation (FCE) to determine work capacity. In September 2011 we upgraded our computers to utilize Occupro's online FCE and PRP assessment tools. Their protocols have been court tested with published reliability and validity studies. OccuPro has provided clinicians, patients and employers with world class service and programming since 1992. Brookline Physical Therapy's industrial rehabilitation program has the required equipment and expertise to offer a comprehensive program designed to return the injured worker back to work as soon and safely as possible. We have many years experience providing quality care for the injured worker and achieve this in a cost-effective manner. Our facility is easily accessible by all local communities in New Tampa, Wesley Chapel, Land O'Lakes and Lutz. We are accessible to Interstate 75 and the route 56 exit (exit 275) in Wesley Chapel.
